Moreno's work describes the Spanish naval mission to Turkey in 1784-5. The second appendix (pp xxv-xxxii) contains an account of a voyage to Cyprus in 1788. The plates in the book shows plans and views of fortresses along the Bosphorus and the Dardanelles.
